Centre for Research in Biomolecular Interactions and Chemistry Department at York University present a seminar dedicated to the field of biopharmaceuticals.
Guest lecturer Dr. Marina Kirkitadze from Sanofi-Pasteur will talk about analysis of structure and stability of adjuvanted vaccine components.
Abstract:
The components of modern vaccines often include protein antigens, adjuvants, and excipients. Typically, structural information is derived from protein in solution or after desorption from adjuvant, while the analysis of the adsorbed antigen in emulsion or suspension is not normally performed. With advancement in technologies for protein analysis, there is now a possibility to characterize antigens in adjuvanted form both at concentrations intended for a bulk concentrates and for final container.
Time: 1:30 PM.
Location: Petrie Science building, Room 317 (York University, Keele Campus)
