CRBI is hosting a series of seminars that introduce the research topics currently pursued in the laboratories of the members of the centre. In this first round of seminars, the primary investigators will give overviews of their research interests.
Dr. White aims to determine the structure-function relationship of important RNA elements within viral genomes, to identify and characterize viral and host proteins that interact with these RNA elements, and to determine the molecular mechanisms by which these RNA elements and protein factors mediate the viral infection processes.
