CRBI is hosting a series of seminars that introduce the research topics currently pursued in the laboratories of the members of the centre. In this first round of seminars, the primary investigators will give overviews of their research interests.
Dr. McDermott's research concerns the basic regulatory mechanisms involved in cellular differentiation. It is aimed at understanding the role of transcription factors in orchestrating muscle-specific differentiation.
